Nice estate find! Vintage 14k yellow gold ring with center oval opal surrounded by 28 round amethysts. The opal measures approximately 5.5mm x 7.5mm. The amethysts range in size from approximately 2.5mm to 3.0mm with the outer band primarily the larger stones. The ring weighs 8.1 grams. The size is 7.50. It is stamped 14K (and tested with a GemOro electronic tester). Great cocktail or statement ring!
