Up for sale today is this extremely rare Magic: The Gathering playtest card. This particular one is "Sea Caves, " the playtest name for "Sand Silos, " from Fallen Empires. This is much stronger than the final version, since it gives you a blue mana any time you tap it, plus one for each removed counter, whereas the final version just gives you one for each removed counter.
You can't really find stuff like this anywhere. Anyone can go on eBay and buy a Beta Black Lotus, a S...ummer Magic card, a rare Japanese foil, or whatever, but playtest cards just don't turn up anywhere. Wizards distributed decks made of these playtest paper cards to their playtesters back in the day. I've been collecting misprints and rarities for what seems like forever, and it's time to let a few go. This is guaranteed genuine.
