Vintage Unique M L Lynch Model 102 Alabama Turkey Call. The 102 turkey call in the pics is what you will receive and is in the used condition. As you can see this call has a dark patina. M L Lynch was constantly modifying his calls to achieve a superior sounding call. His first calls were straight sided. Then he added grooves and holes to the sounding boards on some of his calls. This call is unique in that the top edges of sounding boards are contoured (See pics 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8). I h...ave added a pic of his early highly sought 12 Hole Call that has a similar contour (See pic 11) but the contour is not as profound as what you see on my call. All these modifications were done to achieve one goal and that goal was to manufacture the very best sounding call possible. ML was also known to have marked box calls with a pen or pencil in areas that he wanted to modify (See pic 11). Could my call be one of his prototypes!!! I will let the bidders decide...
