ANTIQUE ITALIAN 18K GOLD LAPIS LAZULI 'ROMA' / ROME LOCKET CHARM C1863 NO RES
An antique Italian solid 18 carat gold (tests thereabouts) locket, set with a lapis lazuli cabochon to one side and reading 'ROMA' to the other. Hinging open to reveal space for slim mementos and the inner bezel engraved '9 Marzo 1863'. So collectible & extremely wearable!CONDITION: All original, with signs of wear & shallow denting commensurate with age and use. Loss to one ring of app...lied decoration and one leg of 'M'.DATE/MARKS: Around 1863. Not marked.DIMENSIONS: 17 mm diameter (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
