This is a spectacular example of a rarely seen US Navy Uniform Accessory. It is a Boat Cloak...originally used for protection from the wind and waves but more recently has served mostly as a formal uniform accessory. This example is from 1935 as indicated on the tailor tag. It is in absolutely perfect condition and is priced accordingly but what is another few hundred bucks for such a pristine example? If you are patient, a worn example will... likely show up eventually, but if you want perfect, here it is. I hate to see it go, but the time has come to find someone else who will treasure it. By the way, it is VERY heavy. As always, I am willing to consider a reasonable offer. Thank you.
