Up for auction is an early-version, Zebco, Model 89 with Feathertouch Control. This sale includes original box and paperwork.
Model 89's were made from 1961-1966. Early version had Feathertouch and laterversion did not. These reels were made of Delrin which Zebco advertised as 100%Salt Water Proof.
This reel has been cleaned, lubed and is completely functional. It is spooled with 14lb.Stren and has been fished by me for catfish and snakeheads in the canal behind thehous...e. These reels are beasts and pretty much indestructible. The covers have fadedover the years(which is typical of 89's); but, could be polished up if someone wanted to put in the effort.
