Rare Vintage Gruen Red LED Men ' S Watch Has 2 Batteries Has Wear Worn

This watch is in working order but poor cosmetic condition. The crystal has scratches. The case has wear.It has been lightly cleaned. Dirt can still be seen deep between the band links. A professional cleaning with a sonic cleaner, particularly for the band, might be recommended. The water resistance has not been tested. Have water resistance tested prior to immersion in water.Two new AG-13 batteries were installed on 04-21-2021. All functions are working correctly. Not working perfect...ly but working. If you press the upper right button the time will be displayed. Press it twice and view the month and day. Press it three times to see day of week. The button is a little finicky with the day of week, often not displaying and when displayed it only shows up briefly. The button could probably benefit from service.To set the watch, use a needle to press in and release the center recessed button on the right side of the watch. When the first display comes up, press and hold the top right button. Don’t release. There’s at least a two seconds delay before it starts adjusting. Continue to press until desired setting is achieved, then release upper right button. Take needle and press center right recessed button again. The next adjustment position will show. Continue with previous procedure until all settings have been made. When complete and recessed button is pressed the final time, the display will go black. Now simply press the upper right button once, twice, or three times to display your adjusted settings.A cool vintage red LED. I can’t tell you how many of these old watches I’ve bought and installed batteries only to have them not work.... A lot!
