A pair of pre-Columbian ceremonial copper ear ornaments (from the Moche culture in coastal Peru), from the former Don Hutchings collection, circa 200 to 1000 AD, about 96 mm in diameter (or about 3-3/4 inches), made of hammered copper sheet with multiple decorative elements. The condition is fair to poor showing great age & wear with some crusty patina and edge corrosion. As I understand it these were ceremonial ear ornaments used for burials, they would have been bright & shin...y when made.Alternative shipping methods are available.
