A VERY RARE FIND - This is an official STUDEBAKER Plant Protection Badge which the Plant Protection personnel wore on their hats and shirts while on duty at the Studebaker plant facilities. This was acquired in INDIANA, so presumably was worn at the main South Bend, Indiana facilities. The badge measures approximately 2-1/2" in length and 1-1/2" wide and has a gold tone. The original pin closure is in place and there is only mild patina color change on the back of the... badge that simply speaks to its age.
