Large format book, "Eagles Recalled, Air Force wings of Canada, Great Britain and the British Commonwealth 1913-1945" by Warren Carroll, 8.5 in. x 11 in. Hardback with dust cover. 238 pages. Published by Schiffer. Many, many, many, many color photos of British, Canadian, and British Commonwealth Forces (Australian, South African, etc.) wings. Pages are heavy high quality paper with very clear photos of original wings and period photos showing wings being worn. Please see the phot...os. Dust cover shows shelf wear, the book is in excellent condition. From an estate purchased private library (see below). It has an inked out library plate. Packed for shipping this weighs 3 pounds, 10 ounces.
I recently purchased a small, but quality private library of military history books and military reference books from an estate auction.
