1941 Paragon Porcelain Patriotic Dish w English War Ships HRH Queen Mary
Trinket dish marked on the back PARAGON by Appointment to H. M. The Queen & H.M. Queen Mary Fine China England REGD Patriotic Series Produced during War Of Britain 1941. It's also marked or signed G6667. The inside depicts Royal Navy Ships and around the gold rimmed, turn-in lip it reads, in gold, "HER STANDARD BE JUSTICE, HER WATCHWORD "BE FREE", BRITAIN SHALL TRIUMPH, HER SHIPS PLOUGH TH...E SEA." So cool. I really wish I could keep this. I'm such an Anglophile...gees. Very good condition. The gold is all intact. There is no damage, no chips, no cracks, no crazing. This fabulous little treasure measures 1"H x 3.5" in Diameter.
