Vintage Marantz 4300 Stereo 2 + Quadradial 4 Receiver W/ Wood Case. In great condition*** Please read the entire description ***This receiver is absolutely gorgeous. It is very similar looking to my Marantz 2325 and at 100 watts per channel of that vintage Marantz power it sounds just as good. It can be run in 2 channel mode at 100 x 2 watts per channel continuous or it can be run in 4 channel mode at 40 x 4 watts per channel RMS. This thing is a beast and it’s quite heavy. 60-80 lbs... by its self would be my guess. Both the receiver and it’s case are in really nice condition. I haven’t really seen any 4300 before in this good of condition before, or since, I bought it. It was serviced approximately 6-9 months ago and the lights upgraded to LEDs at that time. Local pickup would be best to reduce the chance of any damage happening during shipping but if shipping is needed it will be shipped with extra care and extra precautions. Shipping is available to any of the 48 continental states for actual cost determined by location of the buyer. Being as heavy as it is and shipping companies amazing abilities to even break a rock it’s is expensive but in order to reduce any chance of damage occurring during shipping it will be bubble wrapped with at least 2-3 inches on all sides and placed inside plastic wrap. Then it will be boxed and that box then placed inside a larger box. Between the two boxes will be at least 1 1/2”-2” of styrofoam. Because of its weight, It may also require a small wooden frame be assembled to add more structural support. But extreme care will be taken in packaging and the flat fee may not actually be enough cover all the materials, time spent, and actual shipping charges. FedEx won’t except packages for residential delivery over 90lbs. I don’t mind donating my time but hopefully shipping remains between $75 -150 is close to a break even point for packaging materials and shipping costs. If eBay shipping calculators is off or charged too much .... a found of the difference will be sent back to you. Shipping will be cost only with no addition “handling fees”***although this receiver is in excellent condition it is after all 40+ years old and DOES NOT come with any sort of warranty or guarantee other than it will arrive as described. It is being sold AS-IS and NO RETURNS will be allowed and NO REFUNDS will be given. My positive feedback of 100% is important to me and I take extra time in describing items accurately. I also take extra time in preparing items for transport. Most people on eBay have proven themselves to be very nice and very trustworthy. Unfortunately, there is a very small percentage of people on eBay have proven themselves to be scammers, thieves, and con artist. They have been known to try many different methods to steal and defraud people. One such tactic is parts swapping. They buy vintage audio gear with the only intention of swapping out rare and/or expensive parts with known dysfunctional parts and then they try returning the item stating it is broken or the unit didn’t work. It is for this reason, that dozens of pictures collected and a few videos have been made to document and identify this receiver inside and out. Small and unnoticeable identifying marks have been documented or intentionally left so that any attempt to do this will be unlikely to work. If someone tries to swap out parts not only will I know but more importantly I will be able to easily prove this was being attempted. No matter how much time is needed and expense required both Criminal and civil charges will be pursued and the chances of your scam working will be very low. However, the chances of you wishing you hadn’t tried this are quite high.
