Original Description:
Beautiful and very unique hand made cast Metal/iron peacock fireplace screen/cover.  This is from an estate sale at a magnificent home in South Carolina.  It sat in the master suite fireplace for many years.
It has some rust.  It may have a spot or two where the metal is bent, but I don’t see any obvious damage. 
I’m not an expert on metal types, but it may be iron.  It is very heavy. 15.5 Lbs.Measures 23 inches tall 32 inches wide about 5 inches deep...
