Unless you know the seller if the listing says VINTAGE, USED, or PRE-OWNED and it is not guaranteed it is probably not an old original. This is NOT a flat porcelain (enamelware) reproduction from ING-RICH or a foreign country. Beware of those selling NOTHING but signs of some type. There are now NON-PORCELAIN, total...ly flat, reproductions being offered, sometimes as vintage. They are usually things you have never seen before and are aged. A nice addition to any collection.
