RARE Vtg FENTON Art Glass " RIB OPTIC " Vaseline Topaz Opalescent Lamp Shade Vase
Item History & Price
*Sorry but I do Not end my auction items early. But you are very welcome to place a bid!
This auction is for a Rare Vintage 1930s / 1940s Fenton Art Glass "Rib Optic" Pattern 8" Tall Lamp Shade / Globe Shape Vase. It is Uranium Vaseline Topaz Yellow in color with vertical Opalescent Stripes. It has a wonderful Glow under a Blacklight (photos 2, 6, and 7). Top Rim is Crimped / Ruffled.
...; I got a pair of these back in October and sold one back then. Other than my two I have not been able to find much info about them, although a couple ebayers said they had one. I have found the Lamps and Shades which are dated c. 1939 - 1940. This is the same shape but the bottom is enclosed and not open like the actual lamp shades.
It is in excellent condition overall with no chips, cracks, or repairs. (The other vase I had before had 2 chips to the base edge, this one is perfect!). All rims and edges look perfect with no damage! Very clean in and out with no cloudiness. Please view photos carefully as they are my main description.
It will be securely packaged and double boxed.
It measures 8" tall, 5 3/4" at widest part of body, about 4 7/16" across top rim, and 3 1/2" at the base.
Please feel free to Email with any questions BEFORE you bid!
*Payment must be received within 48 hours the end of auction or the order will be cancelled.
Be sure to check out my other glassware, pottery, and antique items. Thanks!
