Weller Forest pedestal!
Today we are thrilled to be offering for sale a truly beautiful vintage Weller Pottery Forest scenic vase! In 1872, Samuel A. Weller founded Weller Pottery in Fultonham, Ohio, United States. Originally, his business consisted of a small cabin and one beehive kiln, and Weller produced flower pots, bowls, crocks, and vases. By 1905, Weller Pottery was the largest pottery in the country. It mass-produced art pottery until about 1920, and it produced commercial lines until the pottery closed in 1948. This gorgeous Forest jardiniere vase features naturalistic embossed forest and woodlands scenes with hand-painted detailing throughout. This is a particularly crisp example with rich deep hand painted coloration. The piece is marked on the bottom "Weller Pottery/12". Pot presents beautifully and is in very good vintage condition, with very minimal display wear. No chips, cracks or restorations. Add fabulous art deco style and elegance to your home with an iconic ceramic art piece from an iconic American company! Fresh to the market!
