Original Description:
100% original 18th century. Cast iron "sad iron" used to iron clothes with. These are excavated on military and civilian 18th century sites including Revolutionary War ones. Cast iron with a wrought iron hand forged grip. Measures about 5" tall. Very good condition, great early relic, see images. Thanks!
