Selling is an 8" X 10" glossy with borders from the 1929film, "POINTED HEELS" 1929 film. This photo is stamped by EUGENE ROBERT RICHEE and his stamp in blue is on the back of the photograph. Also, a blue stamp for the film, POINTED HEELS is also on the back of photo. It is very RARE to find photos from this film and highly collectible. This photo is a must have for the FAY WRAY collector or from the film "POINTED HEELS" collector. ...; FAY WRAY did not do leading roles until 1928, so any portait photos of her from the latter 1920's are most difficult to find and highly desirable. Photo appears to have been stored in a scrapbook long ago and was removed long ago (see back of scan).
FAYWRAY was a Canadian-American actress most noted for playing the female lead inthe 1933 film "KING KONG". No one in the history ofpictures could scream more dramatically than FAY WRAY, thus she earned thenickname, "QUEEN OF SCREAMS". Through an acting careerthat spanned 57 years, FAY WRAY attained international renown as an actress inhorror movie roles.Afterappearing in minor movie roles, she gained media attention being selected asone of the "WAMPAS Baby Stars" in 1926. This led to FAY WRAY being contractedto Paramount Pictures as a teenager, where she made more than a dozen movies.I have dropped the price from 299.99 to 149.99
