Make & model
Waterman's tiny baby safety propelling fountain pen. Unmarked on the base but it is really thin and quite short. The nib is the smallest i've seen before (besides on the dolls pen of course!)
The measurements are as follows:
Length capped - 114mm
Barrel diameter... - 8mm
Cap diameter - 9mm
This is a rather rare early and tiny pen which is in excellent overall condition
Please note - The Parker 51 pictured in the last photo is not included in this auction, it is only provided for size reference purposes...
Country of manufacture Made in USA Patterning & trim Crisp patterned black hard rubber in near perfect condition Filling Mechanism Eyedropper fill (Safety propelling mechanism) Serviced / Working
Safety propelling mechanism works perfectly and the nib extends and retracts smoothly.
I have not attempted to test or use this pen but there is no reason why it might not work with some cleaning. I wouldn't really recommend this as a daily writer though.
