Vintage Sony Trinitron CRT Monitor HMD - A240 Computer Display VERY RARE
Item History & Price
Reference Number: Avaluer:58703337 | Brand: Sony |
Display Type: CRT | Screen Size: 15 in |
Collectable Trinitron Monitor. There are small scratches on the screen, but I had trouble getting the camera to focus on them. They are definitely present and visible if you are looking out for them, but in motion I can't tell they're there. There are some dings and scratches on the shell too, and the shell is pretty yellowed. It appears almost brown to my eye.
Please be sure to note that the shipping on this will be pretty expensive, it weighs in at almost 40 pounds and is ver...y fragile.
Like any Trinitron, this display's colors are gorgeous. This monitor is a little on the worn side but it's still really good. As with any CRT, be prepared to do some fiddling with geometry settings and whatnot, CRTs are work sometimes!
And please also note that this is sold AS IS with no returns! It's an old monitor and I can't make any guarantee of quality or lifespan. CRTs are like incandescent bulbs, you never know when their time will be. You must accept this risk. Now, with all that said, this monitor seems to be working great. I have had it hooked to my main PC for a few days now and I've noticed no odd behavior.
Thank you for your interest and happy computing!
