Beautiful and rare bronze medal of European champion football team Porto, 1987. Futebol Clube do Porto , better known as FC Porto or simply Porto, is a multi-sport club Portuguese based in the city of Porto. He is best known for his professional football team, which currently plays in the Premier League, the most important competition in football Portuguese.Founded on September 28, 1893, it is one of the "big three" clubs in Portugal, along with Sporting and Benfica, their great r...ivals. The club has never been relegated from the league since it was established in 1934. The team's nicknames are "dragons", the name of the mythological creature that can be seen at the top of the club coat of arms, or "blue and white", which is based on the association with the colors of the main equipment. Its home football matches are held at the Dragon Stadium, which opened in 2003 and has a capacity of 50, 035 seats, and which replaced the former Antas Stadium.The 1986–87 European Champion Clubs' Cup Final was a football match held at the Praterstadion in Vienna on 27 May 1987, where FC Porto de Portugal defeated West German Bayern Munich 2–1. Both teams had important issues: the Portuguese were without the injured goalscorer Fernando Gomes, the Germans without their libero and captain Klaus Augenthaler, who was punished, along with striker Roland Wohlfarth and midfielder Hans Dorfner, who were injured. The Portuguese recovered from a 1-0 deficit to win their first European Champion Clubs' Cup, with goals from Rabah Madjer and juary's shot after Ludwig Kögl's header gave Bayern the lead in the first half.The medal has 8 cm diameter (3.14 inches) and 5 mm (0.19 inches) thickness. Weighs: 213 grams (7.544 oz).
