Description: An early and primitive Cassowary bone dagger. It was collected by Kenneth Hamish Macgowan in New Guinea in the early 1960’s. Macgowan was the transport man and field assistant on the Seventh Archbold Expedition to New Guinea in 1964.The dagger has a rudimentary geometrical design and a nice patina.Measurements: 30 x 4 cm.Weight: 92 g.
