Byzantine bronze ring with engraved on the bezel the depiction of the Holy Family
(ca 6th-7th centuries).
The depiction: Mother of God sitting on left, holding Jesus Christ as infant
(in the centre, with a cross above), offering Him to saint Joseph to right.
An extremely rare early depiction of the Holy Family!
Condition: Very Fine, exactly as in photos. Uncleaned, with attractive natural green patina.
