The stone has a face carved on the edge. It is clearly quite old with a black and red ochre encrusted patina. Guaranteed to be old.

Keith began field collecting in New Guinea in the 1960’s. He was friends with Wayne Heathcote and worked on his Sepik houseboat. Keith sourced many fine artefacts and supplied museums worldwide.
