Great ending with Mighty smothered inkisses from a sweet young mouse femme fatale.THETALE OF A DOG (1959) One of the best of the later Terryoons directedby Gene Deitch with story and designs by Jules Feiffer (yes thatJules Feiffer). Story in the spirit of BEING THERE has a down on hisluck dog stumbling up the corporate ladder. Animation is UPA styleand really a cut above most Terrytoons.LOVE'SLABOR WON (1948) – The second of the opera-themed Mighty Mousecartoons, has Mighty, Pearl Pureheart and Oil Can Harry in classiccliffhanger style scenario (with Harry determined to Marry or KillPearl) and Mighty battling through various obstacles to rescue hislove all the while singing his heart out.
