FUNNY LADY - 16mm SCOPE Feature. 1975. Columbia. This is a print of the 1975 feature starring Barbara Streisand, James Caan, Omar Sharif and Roddy McDowall. It is a sequel to "Funny Girl" in which Streisand reprises her role as Fanny Brice, the Ziegfeld star who's off-stage life was much more tragic than her comic on-stage performances. The plot revolves around the peak of Brice's career when she was married to producer Billy Rose (Caan) while reuniting wi...th first husband Nicky Arnstein (Sharif). The film is loaded with great musical numbers performed as only Streisand can perform them. There have been several cuts of the film. I believe this is the "European Version." The film ends with Streisand and Caan saying goodbye at the bus station and then the end credits roll. This is a used original 16mm SCOPE print in very good condition. It contains the usual amount of lines, splices and dirt. It is a SCOPE print requiring an anamorphic lens for proper projection. It is printed on Eastman stock which has faded. Nice sound. No vinegar. Ready to run on (3) 1600' reels. The film projects better than the digital images attached. Ships via USPS Media Mail. No international sales. No rights given or implied.
