For auction is a rare Abbott & Costello 16mm black & white sound comedy digest on a 400' reel released by Official Films entitled “Oysters & Muscles” from the 1945 feature-length movie “HERE COME THE COEDS.” Features excellent picture and sound. Film is in excellent condition except for a couple of splices (see photos). Comes in a can which is in excellent condition (see photo).
This digest from Universal’s comedy classic deals with Costello a...greeing to wrestle the Masked Marvel, believing to be his buddy Abbott’s friend; but neither are aware that the fight manager has switched the menacing “Strangler” under the mask after Abbott’s friend gets sick. This is one of Official Films best edited digests and is in sound. Truly a great find in such excellent condition except for the couple of splices.
