EXCORIG 16MM SKY HIGH/FLYING AGEF PAUL TERRY 1927-28 AESOPS FABLE VANBEUREN CARTOON IN ORIG BOX!Greatfind of the silent cartoon collector. Complete 16mm CommonwealthPictures Corp. print of the Paul Terry Aesop's Fable cartoon heretitled SKY HIGH. We believe this to be a retitle of the Paul TerryAesops's fable cartoon TAKING THE AIR (1927) or FLYING AGE (1928) as thecartoon centers on a very Felix looking Paul Terry Cat entering a“Big Flying Contest” (as per frame blow ups). Cartoon... alsofeatures Farmer Alfalfa and lots of mice (as seen in the screen shot). Print is a Kodakoriginal in great condition with excellent contrast and top musicalsoundtrack. Print is fully complete (approximately 200') with alltitles. Some scenes have a few lines in the original preprint, but cartoon is inoverall top shape with few if any splices, runs perfectly and has novinegar smell. Print comes in the original COMMONWEALTH PICTRURESillustrated two color box with great graphics of Felix, ToonervilleTrolley and other 1920-30s cartoon characters. Box is in excellentcondition. A truly top addition to any early animation collection.
