Up for auction is an I.B. Technicolor print of an early Woody Woodpecker cartoon titled "The Loan Stranger" (1942). This is Woody's sixth appearance and features his signature song "Everybody Thinks I'm Crazy."
This print is a TV edit of the original theatrical cartoon, so the opening titles are from "The Woody Woodpecker Show." Before the cartoon starts you will also see the theme song segment from the famous TV show. Both segments, the theatrical cartoon and the TV opening, are pr...esented in 3-strip Technicolor. The colors are beautiful and vibrant. The sound is crisp and booming.
There are a couple of minor cement splices--no segments are missing--and there is some dirt at the heads and tails of the film. There is no vinegar syndrome detected.
