Up for auction is a very nice print of the early Looney Tunes/Porky Pig cartoon "Get Rich Quick Porky" (Bob Clampett, 1937) starring Porky Pig. The print is on AGFA-2S lowfade, and the colors are absolutely stunning (see pictures).
Originally this cartoon was released in black and white and was then colorized and re-released later. This print is, of course, the colorized version.
This was one of the very first cartoons directed by the famous Bob Clampett, and also features animat...ion by the even more famous Chuck Jones (the two often fought over credit for these 1930s cartoons, which makes this one even more interesting).
There are no splices on this print, no lines, only some dirt on the heads and tails, and no vinegar syndrome detected. The sound is booming and crisp.
