This is a personal item that I’ve owned for around 30 years! I believe early 90’s and this was part of a display at a gift show at the Javets center i...n NY. This exact football was a showpiece in the showcase atop the display of their new inventory. This company made the small wood footballs that sit on stands. Thirty years ago this wood football sold for $500 wholesale and only produced 1 for each team, 12 teams total! This company worked with my dads company at that time and the owner gave this ball to my father.
Who of course gave it to me as I was a big sports collector! I showed it off proudly and everyone loved it! It looks exactly like a real football and I had many pranks showing it off! I would fake throw it and then walk over and say prepare yourself before handing it over! It weighs 6 lbs and because your expecting a lightweight ball when I place it in someone’s hands, their face instantly lights up and can’t believe it’s wood and weight! Who knew 30 years later I’d have a platform to sell something like this so keeping it in mint condition wasn’t even a thought! It’s in excellent condition and still looks incredible! Expect some surface wear on the bottom and some marks on the backside. There is also a few white paint marks, 30 years is a long time so who knows when that happened. It’s solid exactly like the day I received it and has the original white grip.

View picture 8 and 9, there is a crack in the wood on the bottom. It has zero barring on the item itself and I didn’t notice it until it went under our bright lights!
