A matched pair of Victorian sterling silver goblets or beakers hallmarked Chester 1895 by George Nathan & Ridley Hayes. The goblets have been engraved as rowing trophy prizes in 1896 and probably relate to Nottingham Regatta held on the River Trent. Both goblets bear identical engraving:
"NOTTINGHAM 1896. L.H. KING (Stroke). G.W. KING (BOW). A. SCATTERGOOD (COX)".
