4 Antique Blue & White Chinese Rice Bowls/Hand Painted Porcelain/People Bamboo

Lot of 4 antique Chinese Rice Bowls.
Although every bowl has a similar pattern of seven learned men on them, I believe each bowl is individually and meticulously hand painted, since no two designs are exactly the same. Bowls do not stand exactly the same height, and the bowl openings are not perfectly round, both showing these are not modern day reproductions.
I have no idea who the scholars are that are depicted on these bowls -- if one more person wa...s present I would guess they were the 8 Immortals, and maybe these are the 7 men of the 8 people who make up the Immortals.
White porcelain with greyish/white slip and indigo blue design on top.
Bowls stand just over 2" tall and just over 4 1/4" across on top.
Some discoloration and light chips on bottom of bowls, with worst seen in closeup photo.
