Original Description:
Lot is for one 1950's Flight Helmet, Gentex H-4, US Navy, US Marine Corps Size Small. This helmet has been painted red over the gold original paint. It has original flight wing logo on the front. It is personalized with a name in marker on rear G.B. Mann VT-13. It does have a piece removed on tight ear. Rubber edge is coming off and will need to be refaceted. inside liner looks to be complete but leather is very crispy. Helmet is in as found condition and has not been cleaned. We belie...ve this to be a training helmet. Does have a loose Aircraft Equipment Inspection Tag dated 1956.
