I started collectingmemorabilia and autographs around 1982 by TTMing (sending autograph requestsThrough The Mail) and attending card shows in the suburban Philadelphiaarea. I had the great honor to meetdozens of former great players like Judy Johnson, Ernie Ban...ks, Stan Musial, Steve Carlton, Mike Schmidt, Robin Roberts, Juan Samuel (my favorite player), Pete Rose, and many more. My mainautograph targets were Hall of Fame baseball players and players who debutedafter 1950, using Jack Smalling's "Baseball Address Guide." I actively added to my collection until 1991when I went to college and took several years off. In 1996 a friend gave me an autographed RockyBleier photo re-sparking my interest in the hobby. Since then I’ve been collecting mainlyPittsburgh Steelers memorabilia and I am the founder of the Pittsburgh ProFootball Hall of Fame, which is an on-line Hall of Fame for former players fromall Pittsburgh Area teams. Now thatretirement age is approaching quickly, I decided it’s time to let go of thecollection I’ve worked on for the last 36+ years.
