A pair of antique Chinese blue vases with 3-dimensional figurative motifs, primarily of cranes and lotus plants. Apparently rendered in the style of Wang Bing Rong. At some point in their lives, these vases were apparently used as lamps, because each vase has a hole drilled through its bottom, right where the seal is located. Glaze appears to be iridescent. Other colors include green, yellow, brown and white. Dimensions: about 8 3/4" tall by about 3 1/2" in diameter. Bottoms of vases m...easure about 2 1/4" in diameter.
