Antique Chinese Silk Fabric drawn threadwork dragons 3yds + 30" x 30 1/2" WYD. I bought this fabric at an estate sale and was told it was antique. I will admit I don't know much about Chinese textiles however the design in the circles are of Chinese dragons. I have never seen silk decorated in this manner where holes I believe made from drawing threads from the fabric create the design. As you can see in the photos there is some yellowing more on one side than the other. Also the color... on one side is a bit different than the other. This fabric could use a good cleaning as it is in as found condition. In the overall photo of the side with the most yellowing I placed blue dots next to areas of note. I ask that you use your zoom feature and examine all of the photos before you bid. Also I want to point out that there's a pattern of circles and then there is a section where there are no circles then the circle start again. Please see photos for the rest of the description.
