Offering this antique early fraktur family register. Measures about 18" x 14" and 3/4" thick. The frakturs images are clear and in great condition. The family's writing is somewhat faded and hard to read. I can read the dates as early as 1777 and a name Rebecca Cromwell but the rest is harder to discern. At the bottom it says " entered in act of congress in 1846 by J Baillie in N.Y" and published by same person. The frame is in great condition for age. Has some wear and abrasions as ex...pected. Its square nailed with original wood back. Could use some more small trim nails to stabilize the fraktur and glass better but still displays well with wired hanger.
