Offered here for your consideration is an antique Art Nouveau Meissen porcelain figurine.Additional Details:Depicting the mythological figure of Cupid bound by floral garlands.
Modeled after the original by Paul Helmig from ca. 1898.
Simply a wonderful Art Nouveau figurine!Date:Late 19th or Early 20th CenturyOverall Condition:It is in overall, fair, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details:There are losses to the foliage and flowers as well as leaf work ...in the garland. The Cupid lacks one finger. Otherwise, there are some very fine and light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.Maker:MeissenPattern:R123Marks:Blue underglaze crossed swords factory mark, incised R123, impressed 107, and a painted number 7Measurements:Height: ca. 7 1/4 in.
