Here is a vintage beaded coin purse with a metal cover in need of restoration. The knitted part of the bag is mostly detached from the cover, which opens with a push botton and has two cherubs which may b...e silverplated. The inside rim of the cover has a patent date of '90, so I'm thinking 1890.
The knitted body of the bag is black with a swirling silver star design. The metal cover measures 2.25" diameter. The body of the bag measures 3.5" diameter.
