Vintage Johnson “The Century” Model 100A Spin Cast Reel VG+. Part of my 55 year collection. This was one of the most popular spin cast reels of the 60’s. It’s a very dependable and smooth operating reel. All features work properly. This early model features cursive label and shows only normal finish wear. It also has the rare double handle (not a replacement) that was available for only 1 year (1964). Reel has not been dipped or media blasted. The aluminum frame is natural grey... either anodized or unpainted, I’m not the expert in this field so I can’t say but it is not the normal black frame of this model. Could be a prototype. A good reel to add to your collection or fish with confidence. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail for flat rate of $11.75 to lower 48 states.
