You are bidding on a vintage Wards Western Field brown single burner white gas lantern. Made in the USA, no date but made in the late 1960s to early 1970s. Burns any gasoline. This little lantern burns strong and loud, puts out a lot of light. Perfect for camping, hiking, fishing, backyard BBQs, or emergency use.

Overall fair condition and all original with no restoration work, very nice for something that's about 60 years old. Fuel font tank has no leaks or dents, see photos for detail. Original paint in fair condition, see photos for details. This lantern was used a lot but not abused. Original decals in poor condition, a lot of spot damage. Original tapered Thermos brand Pyrex glass globe in great condition, no chips or cracks. Has some white stuff along the top edge, can be scraped off with a plastic scraper. Ventilator in fair condition, a few chips on the top as can be seen in the photos.
Pump and check valve work well. New pump o-ring installed and oiled. Frame has rust as can be seen in the photos. Can be cleaned up if you want with some white vinegar.
Fuel tank will be drained and dried prior to shipping.
Lantern will be shipped in a large box with lots of padding, and the globe separated from the lantern.
