Antique/Vintage Gold Crown Glass Gas Pump Globe With Collar

This auction is for an antique or at least vintageGold Crown Standard Oil Glass Gas Pump Globe in excellent condition. I do not know the production year. I am not an expert, however, I believe I have come to understand that this is an original globe, as the outside of the bottom of the globe is threaded, there is a metal collar and it measures 7” outside diameter, 6 7/8” inside diameter. The gold paint is in excellent condition, as is the milk glass, which has no chips or crack...s of which I can see. There is a small ding in the metal threaded collar, as well as some corrosion, as you can see on the photos. There are no stains or discoloration on the glass, however, some shadows and reflections in the photos do make it appear that way. This globe was purchased used, probably in the 1970s and has been in an attic, since. Please do ask questions before bidding and I thank you for your interest.
