A stunning antique Victorian 10K gold fire opal cabochon ring.This extremely eye catching Victorian solid 10K yellow gold ring has a fantastic 4.5 carat natural fire opal cabochon which glows and sparkles with an incredibly setting sun-like fiery crimson-orange-pink opalescence when it touches the light with flashes of gorgeous sparkling silvery blues coming from its depths, the split shoulders with lovely gold scrolling decorations and the band is reeded all the way around-just beaut...iful! The ring is unmarked and tests for 10K gold.The ring is approximately a size 6.The opal measures approximately 13.5mm x 9.5mm x 6.2mm and weighs about 4.55 carats. The ring rises approximately 7mm above the finger and weighs approximately 3.4 grams.The ring is in general good condition with wear and rubbing to the front of the opal and some wear to the back. The ring is approximately a size 6.The opal measures approximately 13.5mm x 9.5mm x 6.2mm and weighs about 4.55 carats. The ring rises approximately 7mm above the finger and weighs approximately 3.4 grams. The ring is in general good condition with wear and rubbing to the front of the opal and some wear to the back.
