It is a presentation of Princess Lamballe, a friend to theFrench Queen Marie-Antoinette. Pictures of the ladyare to find on internet .
It depicts a lady in a molded grey wig with finest painted white streaks.She wears a pink cap adorned with handformed pink roses.
Marked with a blue bishop`s crozier in front of the basealong with a blue painter`s sign.made c. 1910/192...0
Size: 16 cm / 6.2"This is the largest size made of this doll.
The doll has a flared base and needs a supports to stand upright.Wooden base in the photo is not part of the auction.Part of the base (where the holes are to find) is left unglazed.
The figurine has a visible restoration to the fingers of the left hand.Chippings to the rims of few of the pink roses.
