This rare photograph dated 1860 shows Prince Albert at 19 years old. The 6 x 7 1/2 inch photograph is on a 10 x 12 inch mat.
The mat is signed "Albert Edward"
The small print below the photograph reads:"Photographed from life by Royal Desire at the Revere House Boston on the 18th October, 1860 by J. Gurney & Son of New York. Entered according to the act of Congress A.D. 1860 by J. Gurney & Son in the Cle...rks Office of the District Court of the Southern District of New York."
There is a stain on the bottom of the mat, however, the photograph is in very good condition!
