Here's one that needs some explaining. First, this set is highly desirable to most Post War collectors. First, the #212 engine is as close to Ex.+ except that there is a very little bit of rust on the left side of frame. Then the 6017-50 Marine Corps. caboose is very much the same shape except that it is missing one step, and a slight stress crack on one roof corner. Then it comes with #6803 flat car, with military tank and the listening truck, has a broken spea...ker unit- but I've included a replacement speaker unit. Both appear to be Reproductions. Next is a #6807 flat car with the military DUKW (pronounced Duck). Might need some descriptive t explaining for you younger collectors . The duck is missing one tire, but a replacement tire included and one corner looks like it has been repainted (see close-up). And finally, #6809 flat with antiaircraft truck and a U S Navy truck with a cover. It too has one broken step, (see close-up) I know that these are reproduction loads, but someone made these from the original molds quite a while ago.
