The auction offers an Antique Sandwich Glass Clear Flint Lacy Glass Cup Plate, LR 175, Boston and Sandwich Glass Co., c. 1830 - 1850. This attractive cup plate is an early thick pressed glass cup plate with a very elaborate and attractive triangle and fan pattern. The cup plate has a smooth rim. This pattern is Lee-Rose #175, which is similar to Barlow #1357.

This comes from a collector who kept meticul...ous records for each cup plate. This cup plate was purchased from Kenneth Way in Connecticut, in October of 1974.
SIZE: It measures 1/2" H. x 3 7/16" Dia.
CONDITION: Very good condition with minimal wear to the rim the only excuse. The flint glass dish does exhibit the manufacturing flaws prevalent in early flint glass. This includes; straw marks, sand and bubbles in the glass, and minor mold imperfections.
