This Gilbert Normandy Chime Tambour Mantleclock dates to 1925 and the model name is “Trophy.” Please see photos as I have tried to show the condition of thecabinet. The dial has been replaced with a historically accurate dial. Cabinetrefinished and has a gloss lacquered finish. Original brass hands and original Gilbert pendulum included.Movement has been completely overhauled andis in working condition. Movement takenapart, ultrasonically cleaned, repai...rs made as needed, new springs installed, lubricated and tested. Includes key andpendulum. It measures 20 1/2" wide x 9 3/4” hi x6" deep. Clock strikes a rod onceon the half hour and double gongs the hour on the hour. This is an 8-day strike clock and it has tobe wound weekly. The pendulum and a keyare included. I will replace a dial only if it needs it. I doclean the clock cases and take them apart. Some have minor damage from the years and others need some majorrepairs. I use the original finish if possible and try tomatch the original if necessary. Manyof these clocks have small dents or flaws from when they were made or have beendamaged at some time over the years. Some dial glass may have minor scratchesor chips. Some brass may be discolored.
