This is a restored 1932 Caille 79 made in Detroit, Michigan. The exhaust tub is still instant which is very rare given its thin gauge steel. They are often missing. The tank is polished to a high luster among other parts. Truly a one of a kind motor. As you can see in the pictures the motor is beautiful because the restoration had extraordinary attention to detail. It does turn over and has great compression but it is being sold as a display piece only due to its old age I can't guaran...tee it will start and run. It would need a few gaskets and a going-over. Look at the pictures carefully and use the zoom. Stand is not included.
Everything on the motor was taken apart, cleaned and either polished or painted. The attention to detail during the restoration is exquisite.
It is a piece of Americana and folk art that anyone can appreciate. This is being sold as a display piece only.
